Promoting engineering, science technology and mathematicsThe East of England Engineering Science & Technology Association (EEESTA), brings together many professional institutions and individuals in the east of England who are interested and involved in promoting and delivering science, technology, engineering and maths within the region. Public Meetings, debates and seminars form the main activities of EEESTA.
Formed in April 2001 from the East of England Professional Engineering Institutions (PEI), EEESTA’s objective is to bring together engineering institutions and other organisations interested and involved in promoting and delivering engineering, science and technology, with those bodies that have links to the schools, colleges and public at large. EEESTA is thus complementing the East of England Development Agency Regional Innovation & Technology Strategy. EEESTA aims to ensure that funds and effort promoting engineering, science and technology within the region are used as effectively as possible with everyone involved working as a team and to this end will not provide services that are better provided individually by others. Organisations supporting and working with EEESTA include The EEF, ETB, Engineering & Science Institutions, Business Links, SEMTA and SETPOINTs. |
