Cambridgeshire
SEA at work EEESTA works closely with professional bodies, schools and colleges to foster interest and learning in science and engineering. In Cambridgeshire EEESTA has worked with exSciTe and SETPoint Cambridgeshire to help students still at school. ExSciTE and SETPoint Cambridgeshire have quite clear stated objectives - to promote a greater understanding of industry and commerce amongst young people, 4 to 19 years old, particularly in relation to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The photographs show some of the many initiatives to help students at school to become interested in technology and to become engaged in practical applications. Ultimately it is hoped that these initiatives will encourage people to take up a career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
